restless development About Me
What I did:
1981-1999: Born, learn to talk, went to school.
1999-2004: Went to University, learnt French and how to make websites, got a 2.1 in Information Systems Engineering, and organised a big party at the Racecourse.
2004-2007: Went to work at Arjuna Technologies doing all sorts (XHTML/CSS/JSF development, interface design, network admin, finance/accounts/projections and a whole lot more)
2007: Got a new job at amazingtunes as a front-end developer and made MEmusic.
2008: Became a Project Manager. Made this website. Went to Glastonbury and saw Jay Z. Started a cool little company.
2009: Finally finished our first iPhone Travel application, quit my “Amazing” job, worked with the Hoff and grew some Chillies.
2010: Watch this space…
What I do:
XHTML, CSS, Ruby on Rails (and some JQuery, Apache, Nginx, Mysql, Ubuntu, Capistrano and Mongrel/Thin/Fastcgi stuff too), bits of PHP, iPhone app development, dealing with designers/clients/developers/sociopaths
What I don’t do:
Agile development (unless done right), Flash (but I have spent ages setting up Java socket servers and flash chat apps), RSpec (learning it next week)
What I want to do:
Work with clever people doing cool stuff, make the best website ever, learn merb and play the guitar like Hendrix.
